my
sister-in law is a woman in black. once every week she joins other
women from my community to stand in silent vigil in protest of war,
rape as
a tool of
war, ethnic cleansing and human rights abuses all over the world. i am
proud of susan and her consistent effort towards peace. these photographs
were taken on march 21, 2003 as the bombs were falling in bagdad. |
