Ferron, another Alberta native, is a dynamic musician. I was caught up, without warning, in Ferron's music. It started slow, but before I knew it, I was on my feet with everyone else, clapping and singing.

Ferron had previously accompanied Greg Brown on Tequila and Me. Not a combination that one might think of right away, but their contrast brings out the best in one another.

This was the best festival yet, and it was good to see old friends, and meet new ones. Thanks again, Michelle and Betty-from-upcountry, who helped to carry my equipment back to the car. And thanks to Cloud, who did such a great job in putting together this group of artists for a great show.
