This
is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a large deck, located
in Graeagle, California. It is a fully furnished home that we use
for our vacations and getaways, and that we make available for our
family and friends as a rental.

Graeagle
is in the northern Sierra Nevada mountains, about one hour's driving
north of Truckee. With the Middle fork of the Feather River flowing
nearby and the pristine beauty of the Lakes Basin, featuring dozens
of alpine lakes, this area is one of California's best kept secrets.
Our
home is within the Plumas
National Forest, and just a short drive to Plumas
Eureka State Park, the site of early discoveries of gold.
Hiking trails lead from this area to a series of mountain lakes.
An hour's walk will be rewarded by this view at Grass Lake.

At
4800', Graeagle receives less snow than the Tahoe ski areas, but more
than enough for cross-country skiiing, showshoeing, and playing in
the snow. Nearby downhill slopes are available at Gold Mountain and
within 1 hour at Truckee/Tahoe. |
Our
"hammock farm". Relaxation is taken seriously around here.
Some visitors never make it beyond the house, and spend their days
reading and dozing under the pines. We have books and puzzles and
plenty of games. |
